  • Major Kavach Contract Wins: In June 2025, HBL Engineering secured two substantial contracts from South Central Railway for the Kavach system, totaling ₹163.62 crore. These include a ₹132.95 crore order for new Kavach implementation on the Vijayawada–Ballarshah section (446 km) and a ₹30.67 crore order for upgrading Kavach Version 3.2 to Version 4.0 on the Mudkhed–Manmad section (350 km).
  • Strong Order Book: These recent wins have boosted their accumulated order book for Kavach systems to over ₹4,029.05 crore, providing significant revenue visibility for the coming years.
  • RDSO Approval for Kavach 4.0: In May 2025, HBL Engineering became the first company to receive approval from the Research Designs and Standard Organization (RDSO) for Version 4.0 of the Kavach Systems, a key advantage for future projects.
  • Financial Performance (Q4 FY25): The company reported a decline in net profit (down 44.8% YoY to ₹44.96 crore) and revenue from operations (down 22% YoY to ₹475.58 crore) for the quarter ended March 31, 2025. For the full fiscal year FY25, net profit saw a marginal decline to ₹276.92 crore on a reduced revenue of ₹1,967 crore.
  • Stock Performance: HBL Engineering’s shares have shown volatility, with gains on contract announcements but dips following the release of financial results. On June 24, 2025, the stock closed at ₹591.20, reflecting a positive movement of 4.34%.
