FIIs have sold over ₹1,600 Cr worth of stocks recently, and in F&O they’ve built significant net index short positions.

Global sentiment remains neutral. Even after Trump’s tariff warning letters to almost all major economies, there’s no visible panic in global equity markets. It appears this could be a typical Trump tactic to push partner countries to the negotiating table before August 1.

Given negative FII liquidity and the overall neutral global sentiment, I believe the market could drift lower from here — at least towards the 24,750 zone.

Selective mid and small caps are still holding up, while pharma and FMCG sectors look more positive in this environment.

Our stance: trade cautiously, stay disciplined, and never enter a trade without a stop-loss.
